Welcome to the second instalment of "Monthly Reads". This month I have been pressed for time so my list is a bit shorter than it will be usually, however that doesn't mean I haven't read some quality things this month. As mentioned last month, please be aware that I am interested in many genres, however I do really appreciate a romance novel, particularly one with a fantasy worthy steamy scene or two, so don't be surprised if you see a pattern emerging.

This month I read:

Maria (Made Men Book 7) by Sarah Brianne. To say that I am a huge fan of Brianne's Made Men series would be a complete understatement. Never have I been so utterly beguiled by an entire series of novels in the way that I am about Made Men. All seven books are fantastic with similar yet unique stories with believable and exciting plot lines that make me wish that I lived in this fictional world. Each novel follows a member of the Caruso mafia family. The seventh instalment Maria, is a welcome addition to the series and did not disappoint. I can't recommend this series enough.

The Goal by Elle Kennedy. As mentioned in my January 2020 reads, this is the fourth and final novel in the Off Campus series by Elle Kennedy. Following on with the hockey boys story line, this novel follows the journey of Tucker as he wins the affection of the mother of his child. This was a wonderful end to an exceptional series. I can't wait to begin Kennedy's spinoff series Briar U.

Captivated by Jax by Bella Anthony. Once you get past the blatant spelling and grammar errors this book does have a very cute story line. I do recommend this novel as a light read as it is not too serious with a predictable yet intriguing story.
